The Library International AB launched its service in 2010 after two years of development and beta testing on the Scandinavian market. Its founder, Monir Eriksson, used 10 years in advanced video adaptation and his frustration with today’s manually based workflows to fuel his ambition to create a completely digital, automated workflow. However, during the process, the impact from the market caused him to rethink his original strategy – to create a system for himself and his colleagues in post production. The tool he had just invented, benefitted not only technicians but all video-related businesses. The Library now focuses its attention on the market that faces extensive technical issues – the TV-broadcasting industry. In the autumn of 2011 The Library will expand its business to European and American markets.
